Macleaya cordata extract contains sanguinaine and chelerythrine, which have fungicidal and insecticidal activity. Sanguinarine (pseudochelerythrine) is a potent inhibitor of NF-kappaB activation, IkappaBalpha phosphorylation, and degradation. [Applications] a.
